Mugdha Hasabnis is a singer-songwriter, composer and performer. She has been trained in Hindustani classical music, and has also received training in Western classical music at A R Rahman’s, KM Music Conservatory in Chennai. She has a clean, dreamy and powerful voice that she can easily adapt to suit many different genres. She can sing in a variety of Indian languages including Tamil and Telugu, and she also writes songs in Hindi and Marathi. She has performed with artists like Shankar Tucker and Bandish Projekt, and has performed with the Babelsberg Flim Orchestra for, ‘Babelsberg Flim Orchestra plays A R Rahman’, in India and Germany.
